DeKoi: Koi Index App

In this project the goal was to allow users to catalogue Koi carp fish, in a user-friendly and gamified way. A user can interactively create a virtual pond, inserting Koi of many types, colors, sizes, etc. These added fish are presented as SVGs which display all of their visual features.

This project included the implementation of over 60 different possible screens, Google Maps API usage, Android and iOS compatibility, SVG creation for Koi fish and SVG manipulation and animation, and more. A contribution was made to an Open-Source project in order to improve an existing SVG animation library.

This project was made for the course of Human-Computer Interaction at FCT-UNL, for which a grade of 19 / 20 was attained.

A small show-case website was created.

Extensive prototyping was done with Figma, as well as all of its design.
